Bokaro: Pentecostal Assembly School rings in the festive season with ‘Songs of The Season’


Bokaro: In a dazzling display of festive cheer, the Pentecostal Assembly School recently hosted its much-anticipated annual Christmas celebration. The school’s auditorium transformed into a radiant haven, adorned with twinkling lights, setting the stage for an evening resonating with the joy and harmony of the Christmas season.

The festivities commenced with a heartfelt prayer led by Chief Administrative Officer, Rita Prasad, and the Director D. N. Prasad. The Principal, Karuna Prasad, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, including guests, parents, and families of the PAS staff. A special acknowledgment was reserved for the Chief Guest, Bishop Dr. Jeyaraj Marc of the Kingdom of Gog Full Gospel Church in Dumka, and his gracious wife, Sheela Marc.

The auditorium came alive with enchanting performances, starting with a melodious Christmas song by the school’s dedicated teachers, setting the stage for a series of captivating presentations by students from various classes, spanning Prep to standard 11.

The Trinity Theological College students added to the cultural diversity with a beautiful Hindi carol and a choreography. The teachers, too, took the stage with a special presentation on the song, ‘Ibadat Karo’.

Bishop Dr. Jeyaraj Marc, in his role as the Chief Guest, delivered a poignant Christmas message, emphasising the true meaning of the season and the message of hope that accompanies the birth of Jesus. His wishes for a joyous Merry Christmas and Happy New Year reverberated through the hall, leaving an indelible mark on the gathering.

A heartwarming highlight of the evening was the gift presentation to Sunday School students, promoting a spirit of sharing and kindness. Bishop Dr. Jeyaraj Marc expressed gratitude and encouraged a year-round spirit of cooperation.

In her closing remarks, Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad conveyed a message of joy and sharing, expressing gratitude to all attendees, parents, teachers, and their families. “Songs of The Season” at The Pentecostal Assembly School proved to be a harmonious blend of hope, peace, and joy, uniting the school community in festive cheer.
