Bokaro students! CBSE Class 10th Board exam cancelled, 12th postponed till May 30


Bokaro: Students who are going to appear Board Examinations in this session have big news for them. After a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the class 12 exams and cancel the class 10 board exams. For CBSE class 12 boards, the situation will be reviewed on June 1 and revised dates will be announced thereafter, said sources.

Students, parents and teachers across India had urged Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Central government to cancel or postpone the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 due to rising COVID-19 cases.

Sources said, For CBSE class 10 students, result will be prepared on the basis of an “objective criterion” to be developed by the Board. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams.
