CBSE advises schools to encourage parents-teachers & staff to vaccinate their children ages 15-18 soon


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) asked all its affiliated schools on Wednesday to encourage parents, teachers and staff to have their children of the age group 15-18 years vaccinated as soon as possible. An advisory has been issued by CBSE secretary, Anurag Tripathi to all its affiliated schools, including those in Bokaro.

CBSE circular mentioned – The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India has issued guidelines on 27th December, 2021 for COVID-19 vaccination of Children between 15-18 years from 03rd January, 2022 onwards under National Vaccination Programme.

Taking the COVID-19 vaccination as per guidelines of Govt. of India, will ensure safety of children and students of age group between 15-18, and provide protection to students leaving their homes to attend school, said CBSE sources.

The heads of the CBSE affiliated schools are advised to encourage the parents, teachers and staff of the schools to get their children of age group 15-18 years, vaccinated as per guidelines of the Govt. of India as early as possible.
