BJP’s Defiant Declaration

During a press conference, Lok Sabha constituency coordinator Satyendra Kumar revealed the nomination filing date for Mahto. The announcement was accompanied by the confirmation of BJP state president Babulal Marandi’s presence during the nomination process, signaling the party’s unwavering support for Mahto’s candidacy.

Unwavering Party Support

Additionally, the possibility of senior leaders from Delhi joining the nomination event remains on the table, although this detail is yet to be finalised. The resolute backing from top BJP brass underscores the party’s commitment to securing victory in Dhanbad.

Preparation in Full Swing

Preparations are underway for a grand procession and a pre-nomination meeting, with the venue set to be determined imminently. Emphasising the party’s collective ethos, leaders reiterated that it is not merely the candidates but the BJP itself that contests elections, highlighting the unity within the party ranks.

Opposition in Disarray

Meanwhile, amidst BJP’s decisive actions, the opposition finds itself scrambling to find a formidable candidate to contest against Mahto. BJP leaders have pointed out the India Alliance’s inability to finalise their candidate for the constituency, signaling a potential advantage for the BJP in the upcoming electoral battle.
