DPS, Bokaro student excelled in Indian Olympiad qualifier Exam in Biology


Bokaro: Sparshika Mishra, class XII student of DPS Bokaro, has cleared the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Biology (IOQB) which was held on Feb, 7, 2021 whose result was declared last evening. Sparshika is the only student from Bokaro to have qualified for this prestigious exam as per information received till now.

It is worth mentioning here that the students who have qualified IOQB are selected for Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). Later the successful students in OCSC will be given an opportunity to represent India at the International Level.

IOQB is a three hour two part (Part 1: National Standard Examination – NSE & Part II: Indian National Olympiad) examination which is jointly organized by Indian Association of Physics Teacher and Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

Congratulating Sparshika, Principal, DPS Bokaro A. S. Gangwar said, “It is the hard work and dedication of the student, parents and teachers whose combined effort has given fruitful results.” He wished Sparshika the best for the future.
