Families of two Bokaro doctors who died of Corona received a cheque of 5 Lakh


Within the past two years, about half a dozen doctors from East Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Bokaro had died from Coronavirus. At a program held at Bistupur hotel on Saturday evening, tribute was paid to the deceased doctors. Meanwhile a cheque of Rs 5 lakh each was presented to the families of all the deceased doctors.

The woman from Bokaro burst into tears when she received the cheque. Her father and husband both died of corona. Dr. R. K. Jha (Ex Additional Director BGH) and Dr Ajay Kumar Mukherjee a general physician of Petarwar were the two doctors of Bokaro who died of Corona. Dr. Manjula Jha, wife of the deceased Dr R K Jha, was also among the participants. She is a resident of Cooperative Colony.

This pandemic left many people orphaned as well. As part of the program, civil surgeon Dr. Arvind Kumar Lal, ACMO Dr. Sahir Pal, Dr. SB Basu, as well as a number of doctors and their families including Atul Kumar, Nitesh Rai, Mithun Singh, and Kundan Singh attended the function.

Dr. Neelu Francis (Jadugoda)

Dr. Chittaranjan Gope, (Chandil)

Dr Amit Kumar (Kharsawan)

Dr. Ajay Kumar Mukherjee, (Bokaro)

Dr. Rajendra Kumar Jha, (Bokaro)
