Foundation Day Celebrations at G.G.P.S. Bokaro: A Day of Joy, Unity, and Excellence

Bokaro: It was a day of jubilation and festivity at Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS), Bokaro, as the school commemorated its Foundation Day with grandeur. The day commenced with the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib, followed by a warm welcome of guests at the Bhai Nandlal Ji Auditorium. The occasion was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries and guests who partook in the festivities.

Inaugural Ceremony and Tree Plantation 

During the ceremony, dignitaries and guests participated in a symbolic tree plantation drive within the school premises, highlighting the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Additionally, the inauguration of Shaheed Bhagat Singh further underscored the school’s dedication to holistic development.

Speeches by Dignitaries 

Soumen Chakraborty, the Principal of GGPS, Bokaro, expressed his satisfaction with the smooth functioning of teaching and learning processes at the school. He emphasised the school’s holistic approach to education, attributing its success to the collective efforts of every member of the institution.

S.P. Singh, Secretary of GGES (Bokaro), underscored the pivotal role of education in shaping the future of students and society, attributing the school’s progress to the grace of the Guru.

Tarsem Singh, President of GGES (Bokaro), emphasised the importance of instilling discipline and academic excellence in students, preparing them to become successful citizens. The ceremony culminated with a cake-cutting ceremony symbolising unity and celebration among the school’s stakeholders.

Recognition of Academic Excellence 

The occasion also celebrated the outstanding achievements of students across all branches of GGPS in competitive exams like JEE Advanced, JEE Main, and NEET. The school management felicitated these achievers, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.

Appreciation and Felicitation 

The event was attended by members of the school management committee, including Abhishek Kumar (Principal, GGPS, Chas), Priyadarshi Jaruhar (Director, GGESTS Kandra), senior class in-charge G.K. Mishra, primary unit in-charge Smriti Vohra, and teachers from all three branches of GGPS (Chas, Dhanbad, and Bokaro), along with professors from Kandra.
