GGPS Judo players shine at 13th Jharkhand State Judo Championship-2023


Bokaro: The 13th Jharkhand State Judo Championship-2023 took place from June 17th to June 18th, marking a significant event in the sporting calendar. It brings immense joy and pride to announce that the Judo players from Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS), Bokaro, showcased their exceptional skills and achieved remarkable success at the state level.

Rimjhim and Shalu emerged as shining stars, bringing glory to their school by securing silver medals in their respective categories. Additionally, Avishi, Tanu, and Rajkumar showcased their talent and dedication, earning well-deserved bronze medals in the highly competitive tournament.

Commending the outstanding performances, Soumen Chakraborty, the Principal of GGPS, expressed his admiration for the players as well as their coach and teacher, Chinmay Kumar. He lauded their efforts and provided inspiration to the students who have a passion for sports and aspire to achieve success, urging them to strive for excellence while balancing their academic pursuits.
