Bokaro: In view of sharp rise in Covid-19 cases, one of the biggest hospitals of Jharkhand has announced vacancies for doctors and nurses. Bokaro General Hospital invites interested candidates (details of requirement below) to attend walk-in interview between 03.05.2021 – 08.05.2021 (between 10 am to 1 pm) at DMS Conference Hall, Bokaro General Hospital for engagement on short term contract for service basis for a period of one month.

BSL, spokesperson, Manikant Dhan said that there is a requirement for 30 doctors and 30 nurses. the candidate with MBBS or higher degree and valid MCI registration can walk-in interview for doctors post. Similarly, for the post nurses, the candidate should be B.Sc. (Nursing) qualified from an institution recognized by Nursing Council of India or 10+2/Intermediate in science with Diploma of minimum 3 years duration in General Nursing and Midwifery from a govt.
recognized Institution with valid registration in Nursing Council of  India/States Tenure Of Engagement 01 month (extendable by another one month).

Dhan pointed that, the doctors and nurses engaged through his route may be deployed for both COVID and non-COVID duty. In case they are deployed for COVID duty, the duration of mandatory isolation as per protocol shall be treated as on-duty for the purpose of payment. “Remuneration Rs. 5000/day for doctors for 08 hours. Candidates willing to put in a minimum of 04 hours/day may also be considered for engagement, the remuneration shall be adjusted accordingly on pro rata basis. Rs. 1000/day for Nurses for 8 hours duty,” said Dhan.

He added, “Candidate must bring along all original certificates/ document (along with one self attested copy) as proof of their eligibility along with copies of PAN Card, Aadhar card, copy of bank account passbook and a passport size photograph”.
