In Bokaro, this school requested donations of old clothes and blankets for the poor


Bokaro: City’s one of the prominent schools has come forward to collect old reusable cloths and blankets for the underprivileged. With winter fast approaching, Sree Ayyappa Public School (SAPS) management has appealed to parents, teachers and children to donate old reusable clothes, blankets and other items for the poor and needy in the surrounding areas.
The school store room will receive these articles. It is the storekeeper’s responsibility to keep a record of the clothes and blankets received in a register. These articles can be submitted between October 25 and 30 between 11 am and 1 pm. By the school, this noble mission is called the ‘JOY OF GIVING WEEK’.
SAPS Director, S S Mahapatra has asked all donors to ensure that the articles are in usable condition, cleaned and pressed properly. All donor details will be attached to a packet. The school will ensure that only the needy will receive the articles. A circular has been issued to parents, students and staff.
