Bokaro: Inspector General of Police (IG) for the North Chotanagpur Zone, Michaelraj S, conducted a crucial review meeting on Monday with the Superintendents of Police (SPs) from seven districts under his jurisdiction.

The meeting, attended by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Surendera Kumar Jha of Koylanchal and SPs from districts including Dhanbad and Bokaro, aimed to assess the current state of policing in each district.
During the review, the IG emphasised the importance of public-oriented policing, urging SPs to prioritize community engagement across all districts. Additionally, detailed instructions were provided to enhance crime control measures and counter left-wing extremism effectively.
Addressing the meeting, the IG underscored the need for prompt resolution of public grievances, highlighting the significance of maintaining a responsive and citizen-centric approach.
