Intense competitions mark the second day of CBSE Girls Football Tournament at Sree Ayyappa School


Bokaro: The second day of the exhilarating CBSE Girls Football Tournament hosted by Sree Ayyappa Public School in Bokaro witnessed an outpouring of enthusiasm from the participating teams. On this spirited morning, players from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand were given a warm welcome at the Sree Ayyappa Public School stadium.

Day two featured four intense matches, with Jharkhand Public School, Khalari securing victory against Army Public School, Lucknow in the first match. The second match saw DPS Bokaro competing against Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro, where the latter emerged as the victors.

Jharkhand Public School, Khalari claimed another win in the third match against Delhi Public School, Bokaro. In the fourth match, Army Public School, Lucknow, displayed their prowess and triumphed over Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro.

As the tournament draws to a close, the winning teams will face each other tomorrow on 30th October 2023, vying for the championship title. The closing ceremony promises to be a grand spectacle, celebrating the spirit of competition and camaraderie that has marked this thrilling event.

The event was graced by notable personalities, including Mohanan Nair, Vice Chairman of the Ayyappa Public School Management Committee, Sashindran Karat, General Secretary ES Sushilan, Board Director Suresh Kumar KA, B Sajin, Director of Ayyappa Public School, Dr. S.S. Mahapatra and Principal of Sree Ayyappa Public School, P. Shailaja Jayakumar.

D.A.V. Adityapur’s P.E.T cum CBSE Observer, Kabita Swain, and Referee Ranvijay Ojha also added their support, promoting unity and sportsmanship among the participants.
