Security concerns escalate: MP Pashupatinath Singh’s alarming critique

Bokaro: Dhanbad MP Pashupatinath Singh broken his usual silence to criticise the deteriorating law and order situation in state, labeling it as chaotic and alarming. Speaking to the media in Bokaro on Sunday, he criticised the state government’s inability to ensure the safety of the populace and maintain law and order.

This statement followed a distressing incident on Saturday in which a Dhanbad businessman was shot in his shop, and his condition was reported as critical. BJP MP Pashupatinath Singh, upon his arrival in Bokaro, emphasised the state government’s role in fortifying law and order and safeguarding citizens.

He asserted “the state government had proven to be a complete failure in providing security to the people of state.” The frequency of ongoing incidents, including brazen acts of violence such as shootings in broad daylight, has cast doubt on the police’s claims of capturing the culprits, further fueling concerns about public safety.

BJP senior leader MP Pashupatinath Singh also said that “When we request a police constable as a bodyguard, the Director-General of Police (DGP) inquires about the constable’s assignment to Dhanbad or Bokaro. However, the current scenario in Dhanbad raises questions, as the individual who previously held the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Dhanbad now serves as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).”

Singh said JMM government has failed on every front and is busy giving protection to the mafia.
