ICSE Result: Girls outperform boys in the Class 12 board exam at St. Xavier’s


Bokaro: The girls in St Xavier School outsmarted boys in Class 12 Board Examination. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CICSE) on Sunday declared result of Class XII board examination-2022. Of the 134 students, who appeared in the examination in St Xaviers, all of them have passed.

Among the toppers in the district, Puja Kejriwal of St Xavier bagged 98.75 percent marks in Commerce Stream. Meanwhile Dimple Kothari of the same school became topper in Arts stream by scoring 97.5 percent marks and Vatsal Jha of Science stream obtained 95.75 percent marks.

In St Xaviers, 31 students have achieved 90 percent and above marks. Of them, 20 are girls. In Arts stream, 11 girl students have scored above 90 percent and in commerce seven students.

Principal​ of St Xavier, Fr. Arun Minj, S.J said that “students have performed well in examinations. They have worked hard while the teacher’s effort is commendable”.
