Bokaro: Administrative and police officials garlanded the biggest 26 feet statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by boarding a crane here at Chas Bridge on Saturday. The district administrative officials also took oath of unity and integrity.
National Unity Day is celebrated all over the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. At Ispat Bhavan campus, BSL director in-charge Amarendu Prakash also administered the oath of national unity to the employees. Sardar Patel Jayanti was also celebrated online in many schools of the city.
Various online activities were organized at Delhi Public School, Bokaro and Pentecostal school assembly. Meanwhile on the occasion, a march past was organized by various police forces of the district from Dharamshala Moad at Chas to Sardar Patel Chowk, situated at Garga bridge. DC said that it was the dream of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to keep the country united.
