Bokaro: In a significant development, the Bokaro district administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao, and the SCMS organisation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday. The signing ceremony took place at the Collectorate’s office room, witnessing the presence of key officials.

The MoU, signed by Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Sandeep Kumar and a representative of the SCMS organisation, aims to provide skill development training to youth directly and indirectly affected by mining activities in Bokaro district.
The objective is to equip them with technical expertise, thereby enhancing their employability in industries associated with mining. Notable attendees included Additional Collector Mohd. Mumtaz Ansari and District Mining Officer Ravi Kumar Singh, among others.
The collaboration underscores a concerted effort to empower the youth of mining-affected areas by facilitating their access to vocational training and employment opportunities in relevant sectors.
