Bokaro: The Bharat Vikas Parishad recently hosted an inter-school quiz competition titled ‘Know India’ at Pentecostal Assembly School in Bokaro, providing a platform for students from various schools to showcase their knowledge and talents.
A total of 100 students from 13 different schools participated in the competition, forming six groups in both the junior and senior categories. In the junior category, the team from Pentecostal Assembly School, comprising Arnav Kumar from class 6 and Palak from class 8, secured the first position, demonstrating their impressive knowledge and skills.
In the senior category, Shubham Kumar from Class XI and Shambhavi Sharma from Class XII earned the second position. Trophies and certificates were presented to these accomplished students in recognition of their achievements.
Additionally, Akshat Vats from Class VII and Divya Arya from Class VIII performed commendably, securing the fourth position and receiving consolation prizes for their efforts.
Principal Karuna Prasad’s motivation behind encouraging students to participate in such competitions is to instill in them an awareness of India’s rich history, general knowledge, and the stories of great individuals who have shaped the nation.
The journey doesn’t end here; a final competition at the provincial level is scheduled for November 5. In this prestigious contest, Arnav and Palak from the junior section of the Pentecostal Assembly School will represent the school and vie for top honors.
