Pentecostal students to send postcards to PM under ’75 Lakh Postcard Campaign’


Bokaro: Students had an opportunity to present their ideas and opinions about the freedom struggle and the vision for the future of India at Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav organised at Pentecostal Assembly School here.

As part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Postal Department in cooperation with the School Education and Literacy Department has organised ’75 Lakh Postcard Campaign’ for students of class IV to XII.

The Pentecostal Assembly School organised a post card writing campaign in which students from classes VI to XI participated with great enthusiasm on the topics, “Unsung heroes of the freedom struggle” and “My vision for India in 2047”.

The students expressed their views by paying tribute to the unsung heroes of the freedom struggle. Their contributions to the campaign with great zeal could be seen in their writings. Principal of the school, Dr. Karuna Prasad encouraged the students to participate in huge numbers. She appreciated their enthusiasm.

Prasad said, “Shortlisted students were thrilled to be given the privilege of sending their postcards to our honorable Prime Minister after the school selected ten outstanding ideas on the given topics. In particular, we would like to thank the Postal Department (Bokaro) for supporting this campaign by making the postcards readily available”.
