Bokaro: Chant of mantras, bhajans and small beautiful pandals is the way, Durga Puja, the biggest festival of the year, was celebrated in Bokaro. This year’s puja celebration was simple and different due to Covid-19 pandemic. People offered puja wearing masks and followed other Covid-19 protocols. Administration and policemen struggled hard to ensure Puja celebration passed off peacefully with proper implementation of Covid-19 guidelines. About 28 puja pandals come up across the district, where devotees performed puja with pomp and gaiety. Beautiful idols of the deity are very attractive. All the Puja committees have organized it very well.
