Bokaro: The Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City recently hosted the Vocational Award 2023 at the Paul Harris Auditorium in Sector 4 to recognize and appreciate individuals who have contributed selflessly to the club’s various projects and activities.
The Vocational Award function is one of the many activities of the Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City aimed at serving the community, promoting goodwill and peace, and fostering ethical leadership.
The club’s efforts to recognise and honor individuals, who contribute to society and promote vocational education, and set an excellent example for others to follow.
The event aimed to identify and nurture talents among individuals and encourage them to realise their potential fully. Thirteen journalists including bureau-in-chief of Danik Jagran B K Pandey, nine doctors, and 26 paramedical staff from Muskan Hospital, Chas, and 21 doctors from the Indian Dental Association were among the awardees. These medical professionals conducted dental checkup camps for children in various schools of the Rotary Club.
Furthermore, the event also recognised two doctors and ten paramedical staff from the Bokaro General Hospital, who organised blood donation camps every year on Republic Day and Independence Day for the Rotary Club.
Many residents and Rotarians attended the event, including PDG Anil Kumar, PDG Mahesh Kejriwal, Anil Tripathi, Ashok Taneja, Jaywant Seth, Pradeep Narayan, Ashok Jain, Bipin Singh, Manoj Aggarwal, Anil Trehan, Dr. John Liu, Sanjay Tiwari, Abhay Giri, and Ashok Kedia.
Dr. Munshi, Sanjay Jain, Pradeep Ray, Manu Srivastava, Dr. Rajdeep, Kumar Anish, Kumar Nishant, Pushpa Kejriwal, Poonam Trehan, Namit Dharampal, Sunita Jain, Seema Giri, Srimoyee, Chandrima Ray, Kunjala Narayan, Namita Srivastava, Neelam Das, Sandhya Raj, and Rita Munshi were among those who helped organise the event. Mr. Dharmapal conducted the program, and Secretary Ghanshyam Das gave the vote of thanks.
