Bokaro: In a shocking incident under the Nawadih Police Station, the dismembered body of 35-year-old Geeta Devi was found in a closed sack on Tuesday. Geeta, the wife of Suraj Rajwar from Dahiari, was reportedly murdered by her father-in-law, Milan Rajwar, aged 55. The gruesome discovery occurred around 5 PM in a jungle area, where police found parts of her body, including a missing leg and head.
Initial investigations reveal that the motive behind this heinous act was rooted in familial discord. Milan was allegedly against Geeta marriage with his son. He reacted violently on the day she refused to serve him food upon his return from work. During police inquiries, Milan confessed to the crime, detailing how he dismembered Geeta’s body and disposed of it two kilometers from their home.
Police officials, including Bermo Circle Inspector Naval Kishore Singh and Nawadih Police Station Incharge Rajiv Ranjan, launched a search for the missing body parts. They successfully located Geeta’s head after an extensive search. Blood stains found at the family home further underscore the brutality of this crime. Suraj Rajwar, who married Geeta a year ago in a court, reported her missing after he returned from work on October 19.
