Bokaro: Several BJP members staged a demonstration outside the Chas block office here on Tuesday calling for a CBI investigation into the brutal murder of Simdega’s Sanju Pradhan. Jharkhand BJP chief whip and MLA, Bokaro, Biranchi Narayan said the law and order situation in Jharkhand has completely collapsed.
“Extremism and criminals are troubling the people. People of a particular community intentionally burned Dalit youth Sanju Pradhan to death as he protested illegal activities. An investigation by CBI into the mob lynching should be conducted,” said Narayan.
Sanju’s wife should receive a government job and Rs 10 lakh in compensation. The government should also provide security to their relatives. Mob lynching law has been introduced in the house by the state government. The police should register the FIR accordingly.
