Bokaro: In a moment of sporting triumph, the girls’ Under-19 volleyball team of Sree Ayyappa Public School has added a new chapter to the institution’s growing legacy by winning the gold medal at the CBSE Cluster Volleyball Tournament.
Hosted by Manav Bharti Heritage School in Kaimur (Bhabua), Bihar, the championship brought together some of the leading CBSE schools, witnessing intense competition and high-quality volleyball action.
Dominant performance throughout the tournament
The Sree Ayyappa Public School team displayed exceptional determination, discipline, coordination and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. Their consistent performance helped them emerge as the strongest contenders for the title. In the grand final, the Bokaro girls delivered a commanding performance, defeating their opponents in straight sets. They registered a convincing victory with a scoreline of 25-13 and 25-14 to lift the coveted championship trophy. With this historic win, the team has also qualified for the CBSE National Volleyball Championship, bringing pride and honour to the school and the entire Bokaro region.
Management congratulates young champions
The school management lauded the remarkable achievement of the young volleyball players. Chairman P. Rajagopal, Vice-Chairman Shashindran Karat and Mohanan R. Nair, General Secretary E.S. Susheelan, Treasurer Balachandran, along with board members Suresh Kumar K.A. and Dr Suresh Babu, congratulated the team for their outstanding success. They appreciated the relentless efforts of the players, coaches and school administration in maintaining the institution’s strong sporting tradition and wished the team success in the upcoming national championship.
