Indian Engineers are Dedicated and Skilled: SAIL Chairman to Bokaro students


In a virtual empowerment session hosted by GGSESTC, Bokaro, SAIL Chairman Amarendu Prakash emphasised the strategic value of engaging with employees and nurturing talent for organizational success. Addressing students and staff, he praised Indian engineers for their dedication and multifaceted skills, contrasting them with the deep subject focus seen in foreign professionals. The session, attended by future engineers from GGSESTC, BIT Sindri, and JUT Ranchi, underlined SAIL’s commitment to fostering innovation and leadership in India’s industrial landscape.

Interactive Dialogue on Empowerment
On May 10, 2025, an online interactive session on “Empowerment” was conducted with the Hon’ble SAIL Chairman, Amarendu Prakash Ji, involving the non-teaching staff and students of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus (GGSESTC), Bokaro. Emphasising the value of inclusive leadership, Prakash highlighted the importance of staying connected with team members, incorporating their knowledge, passion, and suggestions for collective growth.

Indian vs Foreign Engineers: A Comparative Insight
When asked by Institute Director Dr. (Prof.) Priyadarshi Jaruhar about the distinction between Indian and foreign engineers, Amarendu Prakash remarked that Indian engineers are highly talented, skilled, and committed to their organisations. In contrast, he noted that engineers from developed nations often possess deep subject expertise and deliver well within timelines.

Engagement with Future Innovators
During the session, Prakash interacted with students from BIT Sindri, JUT Ranchi, and GGSESTC, encouraging aspiring engineers to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and contribute meaningfully to India’s industrial future.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Director Dr. Jaruhar to JUT Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Singh. GGSESTC Chairman Tarsem Singh and Secretary Surendra Pal Singh extended their best wishes for the session’s success.
