MPs and MLAs of the BJP-AJSU from Jharkhand and West Bengal met the president


Bokaro: MPs and MLAs from the BJP and AJSU-Party met President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. According to them, the inclusion of Bhojpuri and Maghi in the list of regional languages has widely outraged the people of Bokaro and Dhanbad. They informed him of these languages and urged him to remove them from the list of regional languages.

Giridih MP Chand Prakash Choudhary, Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahto, Purulia MP Jyotirmoy Singh Mahto and Gomia MLA Dr. Lambodar Mahto are among the leaders who visited Rastrapati Bhawan.

They also urge the President to add the Kudmi castes from Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Orissa to the list of Scheduled Tribes. A separate memorandum was submitted to the President by the leaders as well.
