Bokaro: Sree Ayyappa Public School (SAPS), Bokaro, added another achievement to its growing list of accolades after securing the top spot in group dance and third position in group song at an inter-school competition organised by Sanskar Bharti, Bokaro Unit, at Karali Springdale School on August 16.
Held around the theme ‘Vande Mataram’, the competition brought together students from several schools, offering them a platform to showcase their musical and dance skills while celebrating patriotism, cultural heritage and national unity.
SAPS Wins Group Dance Title
The SAPS group dance team delivered a high-energy performance marked by synchronisation, expressive choreography and strong stage presence. The presentation, which sought to capture the spirit and glory of India, won the appreciation of both the audience and judges and earned the school the first position in group dance.
Third Place in Group Song
The school also made its presence felt in the group song category, finishing third. The students’ spirited rendition reflected their patriotic sentiment while highlighting vocal discipline, confidence and teamwork.
Distinguished Guests Attend Event
The programme was attended by BJP leader Biranchi Narayan and CISF Deputy Commandant Arvind Kumar as distinguished guests. Their presence added to the significance of the event, which sought to combine artistic expression with values such as discipline, cultural awareness, patriotism and collective endeavour.

The school management congratulated the students and mentors on the performance. Chairman P. Rajagopal, vice-chairmen Saseendran Karat and Mohanan R. Nair, general secretary E. S.
