Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School hosted a Career Guidance Seminar in the school premises on Saturday.
Students of secondary and senior secondary grades had the opportunity to meet eminent personalities from the fields of Law, Aviation, Medicine, Finance Sector, Corporate World and Tourism Industry.
The esteemed panel of guest speakers included Justice, Ananda Sen. (Judge Ranchi High Court), Captain Abhishek Mukherjee (Senior Pilot Air India). Dr. Gurucharan Banerjee (Homeopathy Doctor) Mr. Partha Dasgupta (Executive VP, MNC) Mr. Sanjay Kumar Das (Supervisor at Indian Tourism Development Corporation) and Mr. Udit Ranjan Gupta. ( Sr. Manager Account & Stores).
The programme started with a word prayer by CAO of school, Rita Prasad. Principal, Dr. Karuna Prasad welcomed the guests. Students presented bouquets and thankyou cards to them. A skit on “Today ‘s Youth’’ was also presented by 9-B.
The dignitaries shared their experiences, ideas and insights about the practical life of their respective fields. They emphasised on the importance of setting personal goals and their encouraging words motivated students to analyse all the options and choices for suitable careers and to follow up their dreams.
It is notable that all the guest speakers were once students of CAO Rita Prasad. There could be no better gift for a teacher to have one generation of her students share their success story with another generation.
