Pentecostal School: Students display their creativity in Origami Competition


Bokaro: Pentecostal Assembly School organized an Origami making Competition for classes VI – X. This competition was primarily intended to stimulate the students’ creative and imaginative abilities.

ORIGAMI is a Japanese art of folding paper into different shapes and figures. The activity improves their eye-hand coordination. Students of classes VI and VII displayed their creative skills in designing hand-made tricolor fans, while class VIII students designed the Pink Lotus, the National Flower. Classes IX and X demonstrated their creative skills in designing Tricolor wheels and Tricolor peacocks.

The students were assessed on parameters like accuracy, neatness, presentation, quality of folding and theme. The competition was a great success as students were full of zeal and enthusiasm.  The Principal Karuna Prasad was amazed to see the talents of these budding artists. She appreciated them and encouraged them to develop their creative skills for their all round development.
