Nukkad Natak, Vedanta’s ESL, showed the dangers of disregarding safety regulations


Bokaro: ESL Steel Limited of Vedanta Group organized Nukkad Natak on Friday to celebrate “International Traffic Light Day”. It was based on the theme of “Road Safety”.  The street play was conducted at two locations, one at Chimney Parking in ESL and another near Kozy Sweets in Sector-4, Bokaro. Nukkad Naatak enacted a play on traffic guidelines that should be followed on a daily basis. It highlighted the dangers of disregarding safety regulations while driving. People were encouraged to reconsider how precious life is and how important it is to follow safety rules.

ESL’s Chief HSE Officer, Venkatesan Rajamanickam, expressed his appreciation for the truck drivers’ active participation. In addition, he appreciated the Nukkad Natak team’s efforts in delivering such informative messages.

In his speech, Rajamanickam explained the hazards associated with traffic rules violations that cause life risks and motivated people to follow safety precautions. The event was concluded by Mr. Nilesh Singh Rathaur, safety department head, who said the organization has always offered its people safety assurance and wished for a similar environment in society.
