Two DPS, Bokaro students won cash prize in the National Quiz Competition


Bokaro: Aditya Mishra (Class VIIID) and  Harsh Raj (Class IXD) of Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro  proved their mettle in the ‘Saksham’ National Quiz Competition 2021 organized by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) of Ministry of Petroleum, Govt. of India. There were 110 teams participated in the competition across the country. The result of the competition which was organized on the  virtual platform was declared yesterday.

The winners receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a certificate each. Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, is engaged in promoting energy efficiency in various sectors of economy.

Congratulating the winners, A.S. Gangwar Principal, DPS Bokaro, said that it is essential for students to understand the importance of the judicious use of resources given by Mother Earth to ensure sustainable development. “There is no substitute for diligence and this accomplishment is a reflection of the hard work put forward by our students”, he added.
