Pentecostal School conducts CBSE Capacity Building Program on Stress Management


Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School organised a training program on Stress Management under the aegis of CBSE. This session was attended by 60 teachers from different schools in the city.

Resource persons for the session were Surajit Sen, Principal of Jharkhand Public School Baliapur Dhanbad, and Satish Chandra Gupta, PGT of Commerce at Dhanbad City School. Surajit Sen is also the Deputy District Training Coordinator for the Dhanbad District of CBSE.

Both the dignitaries explained the reasons that lead to Stress and discussed the symptoms to recognize them followed by the measures to overcome the same.

Teachers were made to realise the importance of active learning and learning the strategies of inculcating stress management skills amongst ourselves. Along with fulfilling the roles and responsibilities prescribed to us, they should never forget to pay attention to ourselves.

The director of the session was Dr.Karuna Prasad, Principal also emphasised the need for a stress-free life in this present scenario. She talked about various aspects of stress in one’s life. It was indeed a wonderful session and the attendees were imparted with various techniques for overcoming stress in their lives.

At the end of the session, facilitators were asked to fill out their feedback forms and submit them, and the Resource Persons were shown gratitude with a vote of thanks. The session was closed with the distribution of participation certificates.
