DPS Bokaro students embark on a scientific exploration at Ranchi and Purulia


Bokaro: An exciting and educational adventure unfolded as the DPS Bokaro organized a school trip to the Ranchi Science Centre for 184 students of Classes VII and VIII. Simultaneously, 195 students of Class V embarked on a thrilling journey to the Purulia Science Centre. The trips, aimed at fostering curiosity and scientific exploration, left an indelible impact on both students and teachers alike.
The Ranchi Science Centre, located in the heart of the city, offered an array of interactive exhibits, engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities that fascinated the young minds. The students explored various scientific concepts, from physics and chemistry to biology, in a fun and captivating manner.

One of the highlights of the Ranchi Science Centre visit was the planetarium show. Students were treated to a captivating journey through the universe, gazing at stars and planets, while simultaneously learning about the wonders of space. The trip also included a visit to the science park, where students had the opportunity to experiment with simple machines and optical illusions.

The Purulia Science Centre Expedition witnessed 195 enthusiastic students from Class V embark on an equally enlightening journey. Located in the serene town of Purulia, this science centre provided an ideal backdrop for young learners to explore the wonders of science.

Students had the chance to engage in exciting activities, ranging from experimenting with various scientific principles like Evolution of Life, High Voltage shock wave to viewing captivating 3D shows and displays on topics such as geology, astronomy and biology. The immersive learning environment at the center left the students with a newfound appreciation for the world of science.

The school trips were more than just fun outings; they were a vital part of the school’s educational curriculum. The visits not only expanded the students’ knowledge but also encouraged them to think critically and ask questions about the world around them. The hands-on experiences provided a unique platform for experiential learning, promoting scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.
